Hi just trying to change photo on the watch option.
Add a photo picker to the watch.
On the watch got the option to change. need to open the photo gallery on the phone
But the watch say can’t connect to the phone (don’t open Google photos on the phone) watch say can’t connect phone.
No problem… open the watch settings on the phone, can select photos. But option for saving won’t be active.
Using pixel watch 3 and app on the phone the original “watch” app from Google
Do you have a link to the watchface which you have the issue on?
Here is my test face
I have samsung watch ultra, and the test photo watch face is working fine. I tap the Edit on phone on watch and it immediately opens the Wearable app where I add photos. Click save and all is shown on phone.
It takes a few moments before the save button available once you selected photos.
Try selecting just 1 or 2 photos max to see if that works.

Maybe that will do the trick?
Only don’t know how you made this. The watch can’t edit and see how you did that
The photo slot function is not something we control in the watch itself - all you do is add the element, and it is a feature of WFF/Wearable app.
The Samsung/Google style picker is just using Custom TAP actions to open either the Samsung version of Health or Google version. Nothing related to Photoslot though.
I was already a bit afraid of that, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
