I have been trying to get a test watch from Studio on to my watch. The preview button doesn’t seem to do anything. I have published the watch and it then appears in the app on my phone. However, the preview is just a blank watch (see pictures) which I can’t send to my watch.
which version of the app do you have on your phone
The build number on watch looks like the androidx version pre wear os 6
Google is moving all apps and users on to watch face format which needs watches with wear os 6
Watchmaker studio only supports wff watches for android users
My watch is a TicWatch Pro 3. The Wear OS version is 3.5, and I guess won’t be updated.
Yes that sounds like the issue
Unfortunately developers are not allowed to release apps that don’t target wear os 6
Ok, thanks. So until I get a new watch with OS6, if I use the app instead of Studio, will that still work?
